DNR to reopen Roseau River Flowage
Bridge on Dick’s Parkway Forest Road Aug. 25
The Roseau Flowage Bridge project on Dick’s Parkway will be completed and the new bridge open on Monday, Aug. 25, ahead of schedule, according to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.
The bridge replacement project began June 16. The old, decaying wooden bridge was replaced to maintain the safety of vehicle traffic.
The DNR’s Warroad forestry office received bonding dollars from the state Legislature to replace the wooden bridge.
The state forest road system is maintained by the DNR to provide access to state land for recreational uses, forest protection and forest development.
