Della Baker Gamache passed away peacefully on January 17, 2013 at the LakeWood Heath Center in Baudette at the age of 86.
Della was born on November 13, 1926 in Turtle Lake, Wisconsin to Daisy (Spring) and Victor Baker. She and Melroy Gamache were married on July 15, 1945. They were a military family that moved to many places over the years, before settling in Baudette, MN in 1960.
She was happiest with her family (especially her grandchildren), and enjoyed traveling and helping raise her grandchildren.
She is survived by children, Larry (Nancy) Gamache, Michael Gamache, and Delann (Richard) Lozzi; grandchildren, Terry, Michael, Daniel, Sarah, and Hannah Gamache; siblings, Donna Gamache, and Russell (Barbara) Baker.
Graveside service will be held on Monday, January 21st at 2 PM at Elm Park Cemetery in Baudette, MN.
