Dorothy was born on March 4, 1925 in Salol, MN to Olga and Ben Arneson.  She grew up and attended school in the Salol area of Roseau County.  She worked on the family farm doing the many chores necessary.  She and Maynard Reichelt were married in 1959 and moved to Strathcona, MN.  After Maynard’s death in 1970, she continued to work.  She, and her longtime companion Isaak Jackson, moved to Roseau, MN in 1978.  She worked as a housekeeper for many years for various people.
Dorothy made many articles of clothing and quilts.  She enjoyed cooking and baking, spending time with her grandchildren; and loved her son, Tom.  She will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, her ability to make people laugh and her stubborn personality.
She is survived by her son, Thomas Reichelt of Warroad; grandchildren, Shauna, Jamie, Melissa, and Danielle; great-grandchildren, Keyara, Tristan, Kailee, Kenley, Alisha, Jillian, Zachary and Avearah; siblings, Anna, Bert, Esther, Alma, Darlyne, and Nancy.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Olga; husband, Maynard; daughter, Doris Olson; son, Paul Reichelt; and siblings, Thelma, Bernice, Othelia and Ethel.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 19th at 2 PM at Helgeson Funeral Home in Roseau.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be at the Badger City Cemetery.
