Dale Lyle Jeffrey, 68, of East Grand Forks, MN, passed away at home after a long battle with cancer with his family at his side on January 24, 2014.
 
Dale was born in Grand Forks, ND on September 6, 1945 to Ardell and Lorraine (Peterson) Jeffrey and spent his life growing up and raising his family in East Grand Forks, MN.  Dale graduated from East Grand Forks Senior High and then started farming with his father and other family members.  He served in the Army National Guard for 6 years.  He retired from farming in 1994 then began driving truck with his son, and also drove for TranSystems. Dale married his bride Jean Deziel in February 17, 1968.  Dale loved spending time with family & friends.  He cherished every moment with his grandchildren which he called some of his "Best Friends".  Dale will be remembered by his smile, generosity and sense of humor.
 
He is survived by his wife, Jean, sons Bob, and Paul (Jennifer) Jeffrey, daughter Lisa (Seth) Brown and his treasured grandsons Ryan Osowski, Wade, Tyler, Stetson, Austin and Brayden Jeffrey, Bauer, Tucker and Easton Brown;  Mother, Lorraine Jeffrey, sisters Melody (James) Nord, Carol (Bob) Geddes, Lanna (Dick) Piker; Brothers Lonnie (Jackie) Jeffrey and Steven (Heather) Jeffrey.  He is preceded in death by his infant son Gregory, and father Ardell.
