Funeral services for Tanner Mollberg of Baudette, MN will be held on Saturday, April 26th at 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church in Baudette. Visitation will be on Friday, April 25th from 5-8 PM with a 6:30 prayer service at the First Lutheran Church in Baudette, MN. Interment will be at Elm Park Cemetery.

Tanner Lee Mollberg was born on March 11, 1998 in Baudette, MN to Renee (Straw) Walker and Marty Mollberg.

Tanner attended grade school in Moose Lake and was currently in tenth grade at Lake of the Woods High School in Baudette.  He was on the Bears baseball team and played hockey for the Bears in the winter.  He also played football for several years. He loved sports!

Tanner was a true outdoorsman.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing and recently was doing a little trapping.  He was looking forward to time in the woods with his dad.  He had a new area of woods he wanted to explore and get a stand up for this falls deer hunting season. When he was a young boy he and his buddies would ride their bikes for miles to find a creek to throw a worm in and fish.

Tanner was also into trucks.  He just purchased a 1975 Jeep CJ south of the cities which he and a buddy went down to pick up.  He had many plans for the Jeep and was looking forward to restoring it. Since he was old enough to ride, which was about the age of four, Tanner enjoyed dirt bikes, 4-wheelers, and snowmobiles.

Tanner was a very inspired kid.  He always tried to do his best and be the best at whatever he was doing.  He will be missed by many family and friends.

Tanner Mollberg passed away on Monday, April 21st at the age of 16.

Tanner is survived by his mother, Renee (Dan) Walker of Willow River, MN; father Marty Mollberg of Pitt, MN; sister Erin Mollberg; brothers Jimmy and Jackson Walker; grandmothers Leila Kothrade and Judy Straw, both of Baudette; and grandfather Dexter Straw of Cook, MN.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Marvin Mollberg and Chuck Kothrade, two great grandmothers and a great-grandfather
