June Gilleland
June Gilleland, 77, of Staples, MN formerly of East Grand Forks, died suddenly Monday, July 7, 2008 at the St. Cloud Hospital, St. Cloud, MN.June Violet Boushee was born on March 5, 1931, the daughter of Ralph and Delphine (Dumond) Boushee in Grand Forks, ND. She grew up in East Grand Forks, and Emerado, ND and attended Sacred Heart and Emerado schools. On June 8, 1948 she married Charles Gilleland in Grand Forks. They made their home in East Grand Forks until 1988 when they moved to St. Cloud, MN and in 1992 moved to Staples, MN.
June is survived by her husband: Charles, Staples, MN; children: Charles “Chuck” (Jane), Fargo, ND, Duane (Karen), St. Cloud, MN, Mary (Frank) Ringstad, East Grand Forks, and Lois (Don) Robinson, Sauk Rapids, MN; sisters: Helen Goetz, Arvilla, ND and Doris “Dot” (John) Benson, East Grand Forks; brother: Ralph Boushee Jr., East Grand Forks; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; beloved son: Larry Gilleland; and brothers: Robert, Edward, Keith, Kenneth, Tim and Doug.
Services were held Friday, July 11, 2008 at Sacred Hearth Catholic Church, East Grand Forks.
Burial: Resurrection Cemetery, East Grand Forks.
