FRances Johnson

Frances Johnson, 76 of Euclid, MN, passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2008 at the Edgewood Vista in East Grand Forks, MN.
Frances Mary Johnson was born on June 24, 1932 in Crookston, MN, the daughter of Willard and Mary (Bergland) Lee.
Fran grew up and attended schools in Crookston, MN and graduated from Crookston Central High School. She worked as a clerk while in school at the Woolworth’s Department Store in Crookston, MN. On June 24, 1952 Fran was united in marriage to Leo Johnson at the Presbyterian Church in Crookston, MN. After their marriage, they lived and farmed near Euclid, MN.
Fran fought a courageous battle of Alzheimer’s disease. At the time of her death she was surrounded by her family.
Fran was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Euclid, MN where she was Past President of the Ladies Aid and also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Family members who survive Fran include her husband: Leo Johnson of Euclid; sons: Allen (Fiancée: Dorothy Halliday) of Ardoch, ND, Randy Johnson (Fiancée: Lorrie Attanasio) of East Grand Forks, Michael (Mary) Johnson of East Grand Forks, and Mark (Rose) Johnson of East Grand Forks; step-daughter: Diane (Scott) Johnson of Little Falls, MN; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister: Bessie (John) Anderson of Crookston, MN; brother: Daniel (Kay) Lee of Plymouth, MN.
Preceding Fran in death is her parents; brothers: Glenn, Samuel and Wilbert Lee; sisters: Ruth Hagemeister, Hazel Fahey, Florence Tate and Margie Brooks.
The family plans to donate all memorials to Alzheimer’s Research.
Funeral Services were held July 14, 2008 in Trinity Lutheran Church, Fisher, MN
Interment: St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Euclid, MN.
