James Granger
James M. Granger, 71, of East Grand Forks, MN died Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at the Merit Care Hospital, Fargo, ND.James Granger was born June 15, 1937 in East Grand Forks, the son of Marshall and Francis (Enright) Granger. He married Lillian Becker in 1963.
He was foreman of Ryan Potato for many years.
In 1973 he married Janet Schmisek in South Dakota. They relocated to Orlando, Florida where James worked for the Shaw Carpet Company. Due to ill health, he moved back to East Grand Forks and lived with his sister.
He is survived by his son, Roger, and two grandchildren, Zach and Brooke, of Grand Forks; two sisters, Beverly Gust of East Grand Forks and Kay Foley of Reynolds, ND, special friends, Sharon Tinkler and former wife Janet.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two half brothers, Michael and Jerome Lowe, and two brothers in law Don Gust and Michael Foley.
Services were held Saturday, July 19, 2008 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, East Grand Forks.
Burial: Vang Cemetery, rural Adams, ND.
