NOTICE
Lake of the Woods County seasonal road restrictions for all County and Forest roads will be strictly enforced as of Tuesday, March 13, 2007. All restrictions will remain in effect until further notice or when signs are officially removed. Axle weights on all County and Forest roads are limited as follows:
Forest Roads in Lake of the Woods County - 4.5 Tons Gross
Forest Roads in Roseau County - 3.5 Tons Gross
All Gravel Roads - 5 Tons Per Axle
Bituminous Surfaced Highways- 9 Tons Per Axle(Unless Posted Otherwise)
SINGLE TRIP OVERWEIGHT PERMITS FOR SPECIAL LOADS AND PERISHABLE GOODS (SEED POTATOES SHIPPED OUT OF THE COUNTY) ARE AVAILABLE AT THE COUNTY ENGINEER’S OFFICE.
