Youth Donation to Volleyball Court

The White Light Youth Group in Williams recently made a donation to the Williams Area Youth Rec Association with money that they made from a car wash held at Cenex in Baudette.
On Thursday evening the group presented President of the Williams Rec Group, Betti Huerd and Secretary Treasurer, April Stavig with a $200 donation to go toward the construction of a new sand volleyball court, next to the Basketball Court in Williams.
Members and youth leaders of the White Light teens made the presentation.
A foot of sand will soon be hauled in to cover the dug out court. It was purchased by the Williams Rec Group from the DNR.
The sand volleyball court, like the basketball court has been built solely on fundraising and donations. A tax deductible donation can be paid to the Williams Youth Rec Assoc. Call Betti Huerd for more information.
