Glen Grund

Glen A. Grund, 52, of Baudette, died March 28, 2007, at LakeWood Health Center in Baudette.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 3, 2007, at 2 p.m. from Pitt Community Church at Pitt. Visitation was held Monday evening, April 2, 2007, from Helgeson Funeral Chapel in Baudette. Interment is in Pitt Riverside Cemetery.
Glen Alton Grund was born November 25, 1954, at Baudette, Minnesota, the son of Albina (Sindelir) and Alton Grund. He grew up in the Pitt area, attending school there for a few years and then going to the Baudette School. Following graduation from Baudette High School, Glen attended Technical College in Detroit Lakes for two years. He worked in construction, as a logger, a farmer, and, for a time, worked at Marvin Windows. Glen and Maureen (Rebarchek) were married, and had a son, Joe.
Most recently, Glen worked as a self employed Metal Fabricator on many projects. He enjoyed his work, and time spent visiting with friends. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor, good jokes, and for never being too busy to help someone out.
Survivors include his son, Joe Grund of Baudette; one sister, Gayle (Douglas) McCloud of Baudette; two brothers: Gay (Bonnie) Grund and Douglas (Jean) Grund, all of Baudette; stepson, Terry Gamache; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; and, special friends, Mary and Jerry Moore.
