Lilly Seaderberg
Lilly M. Seaderberg died May 8, 2007, at LakeWood Care Center in Baudette at the age of 90 years.Funeral service were held May 11, 2007, at 10 a.m. from First Lutheran Church in Baudette. Visitation was one hour prior to the services at the church. Interment is in Elm Park Cemetery, Baudette.
Lilly Marie was born to Emil and Louisa Lund on October 12, 1916, in Bemidji, Minnesota. She graduated from Bemidji High School then went on to French’s Business College.
On July 25, 1940, Lilly was united in marriage to Arnold Seaderberg. They made their home in Hines, Minnesota for a time and then moved to Baudette in 1960.
Lilly loved her church, singing in the choir, and watching her great-grandchildren play while she was in the Care Center. She made beautiful quilts for all of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved gardening, growing flowers, working crossword puzzles, and playing scrabble. She was well known around town for her delicious homemade brown bread.
Survivors include her children: Richard (Anna) of Baudette, Marie Highland of Bend, Oregon, Ellamae (Dan) Johnson of Mountain Iron, and Eileen (Roger) Cordray of New Carlisle, Ohio; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and, many nephews and nieces.
Lilly was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arnold in 2000, three brothers, and one sister.
