Melissa Gunnarson authors children’s book, will sign copies at Moose Fest Saturday

Melissa Gunnarson will be at Moose Fest for a book signing for her new children’s book, Mona Whine’Ona on Saturday, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m..
Melissa, originally from Halma, is the daughter of Clifford and Ruth Green.
Mona Whine’Ona is Melissa’s first book and she and her nine year old daughter, Ashley, wrote and illustrated the book.
Melissa and Ashley had lots of fun making the book. Sometimes she would call her daughter Mona Whine’Ona.
Mona Whine’Ona is about a girl named Mona who procrastinates when it comes to doing her weekly chores. When her day off, Saturday, comes around, and none of her chores are done, her mother makes her do all of the chores on that day.
The book is a life learning lesson. All people procrastinate once in a while. Some more than others.
Melissa is planning to write more books in the Mona Whine’Ona series soon.
