Golfers keep swinging away

Friday, May 11, was the scene of the Gator golfers playing host to schools from Roseau, Warroad, Lake of the Woods and TC/MCC at a Home Invite Golf Tourney out at the beautiful Oakview Golf Course.
Nine holes of golf are played every Friday afternoon. The next tourney was slated to be played at Warroad, followed by Roseau and Lake of the Woods (Baudette).
The Gator golfers are under the direction of Badger Athletic Director Christine Adrian.
Along with the Junior High Gator girls and boys teams, there is also the junior varsity and varsity Gator golfers from grades nine through twelve. They are: Chris Walton, Monica Green, Allison Waage, Rory Green, Steve Reem, Danny Bertilrud, Kayla Kirkeide, Nicole Anderson, Ashton Waage, Jordan Kapphahn, Ben Felbaum, Corey Graff, Trevor Peterson, Alicia Wicklund, Nick Peterson, Justin Erickson, Nick Ellis, Jordan Creviston, Steve Truscinski, Zac Creviston, Tyler Maurstad, Brittany Kirkeide, Nick Waage, Kreger Tooker, Aaron Gregerson and Lars Lunde.
The afternoon brought rain drops but that didn’t dampen the golfers’ spirits!
