Levenhagen to vault at State Track & Field Meet
Matthew Levenhagen climbed to 12 feet, 8 inches on the pole vault at the Section 8A meet held at Thief River Falls Saturday.Levenhagen’s vault was enough to take first place and earn him a seed in the State Class A meet scheduled June 6 at Hamline Universtiy in St. Paul.
Levenhagen won the Sub-Section meet with a vault of 13 feet last week.
Other BGMR/Freeze competitors had a good day on Saturday as well.
Robin Aune captured 7th place in the 200 meter dash.
Aaron Blazejewski placed 7th in the 800 meter run and 5th in the 1600 meter run.
Derek Stusynski placed 6th in the 110 meter hurdles and 5th in the 300 meter hurdles.
Courtney Krohn jumped 5'4" in the high jump.
