Claryce Swanstrom

Claryce Swanstrom, 87, Greenbush, died on Monday, May 5, 2008 in LifeCare Greenbush Manor at Greenbush.
Claryce, the daughter of Clarence and Lillian (Heegard) Fletcher, was born June 30, 1920 at Pillsbury, North Dakota. She grew up at Ada, Minnesota. She attended school at Ada and graduated from Ada High School. Claryce married Claire Levin Swanstrom on July 4, 1942 at Denver, Colorado. They lived at Greenbush, Minnesota. Claire died on November 3, 1997. Claryce was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church and especially enjoyed being a member of the Bethel Ladies Aid Groups. She also enjoyed the sewing crafts.
Claryce is survived by two sons—Clive Swanstrom of Livingston, Texas and Chris, and wife Genie Swanstrom of Mesa, Arizona; seven grandchildren; and one brother—Ivan, and wife Teena Fletcher of St. Paul, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and her daughter—Coreen Nienkerk.
Funeral Service was held on Sunday, May 11, in Bethel Lutheran Church of Greenbush. Pastor Bryce Fellbaum, officiated and Linda Sovde was the organist. Honorary Pallbearers were Ivan Fletcher, Vernon Johnson, Steve & Greg Wollin and Manvil Dvergsten. Interment was in Bethel Lutheran Cemetery with Gieseke Funeral Chapel of Greenbush in charge of arrangements.
