Louise Albrecht, 81, of International Falls, MN, died on Thursday, November 1st, 2012 at the Falls Good Samaritan Society.
Louise was born on August 19th, 1931 in Royalton, MN. She began her adult life as a housekeeper for General Patton. Later, she journeyed to Los Angeles, where she spent the next 20 years doing cosmetic packing for Max Factor. During this time, she would take mini trips to Las Vegas where she would have a blast. She loved the excitement and fun associated with Vegas.
In the early 1980’s, Louise moved to Int’l Falls where she purchased her own home. She spent the remainder of her working days at Rig-Jig Tackle. Upon retiring, Louise would enjoy going to the casinos around the state, and most recently, she enjoyed a trip to Fortune Bay with the Falls Good Samaritan Society.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anton and Carrie Albrecht; sisters, Mary Clear and Francis Senzek; brothers, Richard, Charlie, and Eddie.
Louise is survived by her sisters, Jennie (Al) LaValla, Josie (Walter) LaValla, and Bertha (Floyd) Kohman; lots of nieces, nephews, & great ones too!
A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 4th, 2012 at Green-Larsen Mortuary from 6 – 8 p.m. Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Royalton, MN on Wednesday, November 7th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m.
If so desired, in memoriam donations would be preferred to the Louise Albrecht Memorial Trust in care of Wells Fargo Bank.
