David Michael Klein, 65

David Michael Klein, 65, of Hallock, Minnesota died Sunday, April
25, 2010 at the Kittson Memorial Healthcare Center in Hallock.  Dave
was born December 7, 1944 in Bismarck, North Dakota the son of Walt
and Ruth Klein.  He grew up in the Hazelton, North Dakota area and in
1961 moved with his family to Hallock, where he attended and
graduated from Hallock High School in 1963.  On November 7, 1964 he
was united in marriage to Janice Holmquist.  He worked for
International Harvester and Midwestern Natural Gas Company until 1976
when he started his farming career.  
    Dave is survived by his wife, Janice, two sons, Scott (Sherri) and
Kevin (Sonja) and daughter-in-law Mary;  eight grandchildren,
Lindsey, Jackson, Sydney, Kennedy, Noah, Peyton, Gunnar and Lauren;
and a brother, Wayne of Gillette, Wyoming.
He was preceded in death by his son Todd, his parents and a brother.
Dave’s greatest joy was his grandchildren, farming and spending time
with his sons and his community and friends.
    Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, April 28th, 2010 at
10:00 a.m. in the First Presbyterian Church, Hallock.  Interment will
be in Greenwood Cemetery, Hallock.  Rev. Adam Copeland, presiding;
Diane Younggren, organist and Sue Albrecht, soloist.  Honorary casket
bearers will be R.C. Nelson, Allan Ray Gustafson, John Carpenter, Les
Sunderland, Larry Younggren, Myles Johnson, Phil Sundberg and Dan
Carriere.  Casket bearers will be Bill Lindberg, Roger Meunier,
Kenneth Anderson, Keith Anderson, Roger Anderson, Larry Nelson,
Richard Gjovik and Kenny Hultgren. Visitation will be at the
Austin-Hughes Funeral Home in Hallock on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8
p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00
