NOTICE OF ACQUISITION OF CONTROL
of a Minnesota Bank Pursuant to Minnesota
Law Regarding Change of Control

Notice is hereby given that:  

Dennis and Terri Brazier, Greenbush, Minnesota, propose to acquire control of Border Bancshares, Inc., Greenbush, Minnesota.  Vivian Y. Miller Revocable Trust, Roseau, Minnesota; Vivian Y. Miller, Naples, Florida, as trustee of the Vivian Y. Miller Revocable Trust; the Michael J. Miller Trust, Roseau, Minnesota; Jon L. Miller, Naples, Florida, individually and as trustee of the Vivian Y. Miller Revocable Trust and the Michael J. Miller Trust; the William I. Hagen Revocable Trust, Roseau, Minnesota; William I. Hagen, Warroad, Minnesota, individually and as trustee of the William I. Hagen Revocable Trust; William M. Hagen, Salol, Minnesota; Lori Ann Minard, Bozeman, Montana; Melissa L. Tedford, Fargo, North Dakota; Neal L. Broten, River Falls, Wisconsin; Sally T. Broten, River Falls, Wisconsin; Susan L. Miller, Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Brian J. MacLellan, Minneapolis, Minnesota, as a group acting in concert, propose to acquire and retain control of Border Bancshares, Inc., Greenbush, Minnesota.  

Border Bancshares, Inc., Greenbush, Minnesota, controls a subsidiary bank named:

Border State Bank
133 Main Street North
Greenbush, Minnesota  

The Commissioner of Commerce, State of Minnesota, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 46.047 to 46.048, accepted this notification for filing on May 25, 2010.
Public comment will be accepted on the application for a period of not less than 21 days from June 2, 2010, the date of publication.  Written comments should be addressed to:
