Annette “Ann” Larson, 73

Annette “Ann” Larson, 73, of Hallock, Minnesota passed away at her
home on Sunday, August 22nd, 2010.  Annette Juelle Johnson was born
January 9, 1937 near Thief River Falls, Minnesota the daughter of
Charles and Minnie (Anderson) Johnson.  Ann was a 1955 graduate of
Lincoln High School in Thief River Falls.  She married Lowell Larson
on September 10, 1955 at Thief River Falls. The couple moved to
Tacoma, Washington shortly after their wedding and lived there until
1959.  Ann and Lowell lived in Arizona and Colorado before moving to
Hallock in 1967.  Ann worked at the Crossroads, the Mileage and
managed the American Legion for 12 years. She also worked at Kittson
Memorial Hospital, retiring from there several years ago.  Ann and
Lowell have wintered in Arizona since 1999.  She was a member of
Grace Lutheran Church and the Eagles Auxiliary.
    Family members include her husband, Lowell; a daughter, Tawnya
(Todd) Sorenson, Hallock; two sons, Terry (Billie) Larson, Fremont,
CA and Troy (Naomi) Larson, Hallock; two step grandchildren, Kayla
(Shane) Korynta and Alex Chaput; a step great grandson, Wyatt; a
brother, Eldo (Darlene) Johnson, Keene, ND and four sisters, Mavis
Langaas, Elaine Austinson and Lillian (Gail) Rux all of Thief River
Falls, and Gloranne Weflen, Dickinson, ND.  Ann was preceded in death
by her parents; a son, Skylor Dale; two brothers, Laverne and
Dewaine; and a sister Cora Ranstrom.
    Memorial services are scheduled for Thursday, August 26th, 2010 at
10:00 a.m. in Grace Lutheran Church, Hallock.  Interment will be in
Greenwood Cemetery, Thief River Falls.  Visitation will be held on
Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Austin-Hughes Funeral
Chapel at Hallock with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Rev. Craig
Boyer, presiding; Renee Ryden, organist and Sue Albrecht, soloist.
Honorary casket bearers will be family and friends.
