Betty “Snooks”” Friedrichsen

Betty Friedrichsen, age 69, of Stacy died August 22, 2010 at the Cambridge Medical Center.
Betty JoAnn Friedrichsen, “Snooks”, was born November 13, 1940 at Cass Lake to Wallace and Betty Mason. She was raised on a potato farm at Graceton and graduated from Williams High School. Betty then attended Glamour Beauty School in northeast Minneapolis. Betty lived in Stacy, rural Isanti, since 1982. She worked as beauty operator for several years. Betty also worked at Linwood Terrace doing both maintenance and office work for many years. She loved fixing things and doing outside work.  She also did stained glass, enjoyed crafting and designing things.
Betty was preceded in death by her father, Wallace. She is survived by daughter, Stephanie Friedrichsen and grandson, Kyle Friedrichsen of Bettendorf, Iowa; mother, Betty Mason of Baudette; brothers, Ross (Bregetta) Mason of Hamburg and Kent (Julie) Mason of Williams; sister, Dianne (Randy) Turner of Roosevelt; special friend, Janet Tepley of Stacy and family Evan (Kim) Tepley of Braham and Chris (Terry) Swanson of North Branch and families; and by many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Strike Funeral Home – Isanti Chapel with Rev. Paul Reynolds officiating. Interment was in Pine Hill Cemetery in Williams.
