Tania Dembiczak, 58

Tania Dembiczak, 58, of Halma, Minnesota passed away at Sanford
Medical Center  in Thief River Falls, Minnesota on Saturday evening,
October 9th, 2010 following a two year battle with cancer.  Tania
Johnson was born November 9, 1951 in Madison, Wisconsin the daughter
of Harvey and Margaret Johnson.  She attended elementary school in
Lake Bronson and graduated from Karlstad High School.  On June 26,
1971 she married Rudy Dembiczak at Greenbush.  The couple settled in
Halma and raised their family there.  Tania worked at Arctic
Enterprises in Karlstad from 1969 to 1981.  In 1986 she began working
at MCI in Pembina and was there until 2003.  Tania worked at Digi-Key
in Thief River Falls until 2009 when she retired because of failing
health.  Tania was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Karlstad
and was an active member of AA for 25 years.
    Family members include her husband, Rudy; a daughter, Dawn (Dan)
Stull, Hallock; two sons, Kirby (Kari) Dembiczak, Halma and Cory
Dembiczak, East Grand Forks, MN; grandchildren, Stefanie and Rylie
Stull, Mykael, Walker and Summer Dembiczak, Breyden and Evan
Dembiczak and Dylan Meader; a sister, Debra Gaye Hernandez,
Crookston; and a sister-in-law, Barb Johnson, Karlstad; as well as
nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents Harvey
and Margaret and brother, Charles Paul Johnson.  
    Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, October 13th, 2010 at
10:30 a.m. in the Assembly of God Church at Karlstad, Minnesota.
Interment will be in Eidsvold Cemetery, rural Halma.  Rev. Rick
Wadholm, presiding; special music, Jenn Wadholm, Casket bearers will
be Danny Johnson, Dan Blomquist, Marcus Wagner, Dean Johnson, Robert
Thompson and Kurt Aakre.Visitation will be held at the church on
Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m.
The Austin-Hughes Funeral Home of Hallock is in charge of
arrangements.
