Pearl Anderson, 89

Pearl Anderson, 89, of Greenbush, MN died on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 in LifeCare Greenbush Manor at Greenbush, MN.
      Pearl Evelyn Anderson, the daughter of Eddie & Pauline (Hatle) Anderson, was born March 10, 1921 at Greenbush, MN.  She attended Dock District 40 country school and later Greenbush High School, graduating in 1938.   She married Arnold Howard Anderson on October 22, 1949 in Bethel Lutheran Church of Greenbush.  They farmed south of Greenbush in Hereim Township for many years.  She also worked at Polaris Industries in Roseau for several years. Arnold Anderson died on November 26, 2000.
      Pearl was an active member of Bethel Lutheran Church.  She taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School and was active in the Ladies Aid for many years.  Her hobbies included raising flowers, gardening, canning, baking and enjoying her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
    She is survived by a son—Arlyn, and wife Janice Anderson of Greenbush,
a daughter—Paula, and husband Phillip McKay of Eagan, MN.
    6 grandchildren—Tamara Nelson of Greenbush,  Heather (Jason) Lee of Newfolden, MN,  Tad (Denise) Anderson of Greenbush, Troy Anderson of Greenbush (and his special friend Tresa Johnson of Prior Lake, MN),  Damien McKay of Rosemount, MN & Vanessa McKay of Eagan, MN.
     13 great-grandchildren—Shelby, Brady & Jarett Lee,
  Luke, Derek, Jolene & Brandy Nelson, Taylor Myhrer, Molly, Alex & Savannah Anderson,  Collin & Stella McKay.
     2 sisters—Marcella Nelson and Alice Miller, both of Greenbush.
     1 sister-in-law—Palma Stenberg of Baxter, MN.
     Nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
      Funeral Services were held on Sunday, November 7, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. in Bethel Lutheran Church of Greenbush with Pastor Mark Mathews, officiating.
Joan Haugen was the organist and Marie Olson was the soloist.  The Pallbearers were Tamara Nelson, Heather & Jason Lee, Troy, Tad & Denise Anderson, Vanessa & Damien McKay.  Interment was in Bethel Lutheran Cemetery of Greenbush with Gieseke Funeral Chapel of Greenbush in charge of arrangements.
