Nicholas Olson, 28

Nicholas Olson, 28, of Lake Bronson, Minnesota passed away at his
home on Wednesday, November 17th, 2010.  Nicholas was born March 5,
1982 in Fargo, North Dakota, the son of Robert and Gayle (Peterson)
Olson.  He was baptized at Bethal Lutheran Church in Bemidji and
attended Bemidji High School. Nicholas loved to hunt and fish with
his dad and go on vacations with his mom.  He enjoyed enjoyed
demolition derbys and won his first one at the age of 15 (yes, we
lied about his age).  Having a vehicle meant the world to him and had
several nice ones.  Nicholas worked at various jobs during his young
life.  His first paying job was at the Beltrami County Fair.  He was
only 10 years old and cleaned stalls. His most recently worked at
Central Boiler and helped with the beet harvest.
    He is survived by his mother, Gayle Olson of Bemidji; and many
cousins and good friends.  Nicholas was preceded in death by his
father, Robert; a brother, Casey Olson; his grandparents, Manfred and
Iolet Peterson and Howard and Clara Olson; and an uncle, James
Peterson.
    Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, November 20th, 2010 at
2:00 p.m. in Zion Lutheran Church, Lake Bronson.  Interment will be
in Riverside Cemetery, Lake Bronson.  Rev. Arlo Feiock, presiding;
Ron Fossell, soloist and Lyndon Johnson, organist.  
The Austin-Hughes Funeral Home of Hallock is in  charge of
arrangements.
