Regina (Gina) M. Hanson, 94

Regina (Gina) M. Hanson, 94, of East Grand Forks, MN and Valley 4000 assisted living, Grand Forks, ND passed away at Valley Eldercare, Grand Forks, NDon Saturday, March 5, 2011.
            Gina was born on January 24, 1917 in Mandan, ND, the daughter of John and Katherine (Dosch) Ehli. She was raised near Verendrye and Karlsruhe,ND attending School in Verendrye, ND. She worked in the café in Velva, ND and at Boeing in Seattle, WA before marrying Melford (Rusty) Hanson on September 27, 1946 in Velva, ND.
            Gina and Rusty resided in Velva until 1968 when they moved to East Grand Forks, MN. They owned the Coast to Coast store in East Grand Forks and later Gina worked at the Coast to Coast store  and Hardware Hank in Grand Forks until retiring. Gina loved gardening, was a fabulous cook and baker and seamstress. She liked nothing better than to make meatballs and gravy, German noodles, bread and rolls and desserts for her children and grandchildren. Gina was a member of the Eastern Star.
            Gina is survived by her children: Deb (Jim) Maves, Woodbury, MN, Chuck (Chris) Hanson, Grand Forks, ND and Jan (Charlie) Bridgeford, Grand Forks, ND; her grandchildren: Kyle, Heidi and Derek Hanson and Adam, Aaron and Briana Bridgeford; great grandson: Lennon Bouvette; two sisters: Pauline Palmer, St. Paul, MN and Katherine Seibel, Pierre, SD; two brothers: Frank Ehli, Eugene, OR and P.T. Ehli, Springfield, OR. She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; a daughter, Karlin K Hanson; grandson, Colin Bridgeford; sisters: Mae Meyers and Anna Marie Ehli.
            Memorials are preferred to Wheatland Terrace or Valley Eldercare.
