LeRoy Ferencik, 69

LeRoy was born on June 18, 1942 in Warren, MN, the son of George and Hulda (Kleven) Ferencik. He graduated from Warren High School. After his schooling, he farmed with his father and uncle, Ernest (Mildred) Kleven. For the past several years he rented out his farmland. Most recently, LeRoy worked for Merle Stinar.

He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Tabor, MN and active with Alcoholics Anonymous.

LeRoy was a big fan of Oliver tractors. He enjoyed looking at old machinery, attending auction sales, drinking coffee and visiting with people.

Left to mourn his passing are a brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Rose Ferencik of Cordova, IL; niece, Tara Ferencik of Le Claire, IA; aunt, Mae Newell of East Grand Forks, MN and numerous cousins and grand cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and special aunt and uncle, Mildred and Ernest Kleven.

Funeral services were held Friday, June 24, 2011 at Bethany Lutheran Church in rural East Grand Forks, MN.

INTERMENT: Holy Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Tabor, MN.
