Riley “Wally” Louel Wallace Sr., 88

Wally was born January 3, 1924 in Baker Florida to Riley Bilier and Norma Mahalie Wallace. Starting from a very young age he was successful doing many things; service in the Air Force during WWII, carpentery, HVAC, and as owner of several businesses. He owned and operated the Baudette Florist for many years.
He spent his retirement years on an orchard just outside Yakima, WA; where he loved selling his fruit and produce at Seattle’s Pike Place and Redmond Saturday Farmer’s markets among others.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years Glenda (Flash), three children from his first marriage; Roger, Jim and Suzanne; nine children with Glenda, Mahalie, Riley II, Amber, Riley III, Scarlette, Riley IV, Tove, Candice, and Riley V; adopted son Philip L.; as well as several grand and great grandchildren; brother, Wilbern and nephew Charles.
He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife Bertha; several siblings and beloved dogs through the years, Maria, Skippy, Chuey and Golberg. He will be greatly missed by all.
A Memorial Visitation for Riley L. Wallace of Williams, MN will be held on Wednesday January 18, 2012 from 5-7PM at Helgeson Funeral Home in Baudette, MN with a devotional service at 7.
Riley Wallace passed away January 15, 2012 at the age 88.
