Minnie Hildur Weisenhaus, 103

Minnie Hildur Weisenhaus was born at home in Cedarbend Township February 12, 1908 to Otto Ohlin (Doc) and Emily (Hagman) Ohlin. She passed away January 19, 2012 in the Baudette Hospital just three weeks shy of her 104th birthday.
Minnie had many joys in life. She loved life, fall and its colors, her family, baking, cooking, playing poker and skip-bo, music, singing and children. Minnie also enjoyed visiting with her many friends and family, and in her younger years she loved trick horseback riding.

Minnie lived a full life centered on family. The last few years of her life her granddaughter Dawn lived with her and devoted herself to provide excellent care to Minnie, with occasional help from Teresa, which allowed her to live at home right up to her last days. She greatly appreciated her visits from her family and friends.

Minnie is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Otto Weisenhaus, Luke Fish; siblings, Sivy, Lily, Elsie, and Hansur; sons, Roger Weisenhaus, Dennis Fish; extended children, Bessie Markov, Norman Fish, Delbert Fish, Joy McLaughlin, Loren Fish.

She is survived by her children; Duane (Pat) Weisenhaus of Necedah, WI, Beatrice (Don) McBride of Bemidji, MN, and Marlene (Ken) Roland of Williams, MN; extended son, Leslie Fish of Roosevelt, MN; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

A Funeral Service for Minnie H. Weisenhaus of Williams, MN will be held Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 2:00PM at Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church in Roosevelt, MN. Visitation held one hour prior to service at the church. Interment will be held at America Cemetery.

Minnie passed away January 19, 2012 at the age of 103.
