PARTIAL ABANDONMENT OF BRANCH 5 OF JUDICIAL DITCH NO. 16

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lake of the Woods County Drainage Authority will hold a public hearing on June 26, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Government Center in the Commissioners’ Room pursuant to MN Stat. § 103E.806 “Partial Abandonment of a Drainage System.”  Evidence and testimony will be taken as to whether that part of the drainage system should be abandoned, based on a determination of whether that part of the drainage system does not serve a substantial useful purpose to any property remaining in the system and is not of substantial public benefit and utility.  Public input by affected property owners is welcome.
