Kenneth “Skip” Romaine Beadle, 71

Kenneth “Skip” Romaine Beadle of Roosevelt, Minnesota passed away on July 17, 2012 at the VA Medical Center in Fargo, North Dakota at 71 years of age.
He is survived by his son Tony Ken Beadle of Bemidji, Minnesota and three grandchildren: Jordan, Ashley and Alex Beadle, all from Thief River Falls, Minnesota.
Memorial services will be held at the Roosevelt Legion Hall on July 31 st at 7:00 p.m.
Kenneth (Skip) Beadle, son of Ken Beadle and Hazel Funseth Beadle, was born in Roosevelt, Minnesota, on August 23, 1940. He grew up in Salol and Roosevelt, being raised by an aunt, Betsy, in Salol, and aunt, Ina, in Roosevelt. He went to high school in Williams and was a goalie for the Williams Wolves and also the Warroad Lakers. Skip tried out for the Warroad Lakers and was hit in the eye with a puck, so he was blind in one eye like his Grandpa Frank Beadle.
He joined the Army in 1959 and spent three years in Germany. After his years in the service he worked for awhile in California. He married Susan Hammer and they had one son, Tony Ken Beadle.
He retired from Marvin Windows and Doors in 2000 and presently lived in Roosevelt.
