Jeannette E. Kasprowicz, 69

Jeannette E. Kasprowicz was born on December 10, 1942 in Deer
Township, Roseau County, to Robert and Esther (Kimble) Erickson.  She
was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Calvary Lutheran
Church in Strathcona.  Jeannette attended country school in Deer
Township near Strathcona and graduated from Cosmetology School in
Minneapolis.  She was united in marriage to Walter Kasprowicz on
September 2, 1961 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Greenbush
and the two made their home in Ft. Hood, TX for 2 years before moving
to Stephen, MN. and eventually moving to their farm in Augsburg
Township, near Stephen in 1975.  Walter passed away January 28, 1986
and Jeannette continued to make her home on the farm until moving to
Greenbush in 1990.  Jeannette passed away unexpectedly at her home on
Monday, August 20, 2012.
Jeannette worked at American Crystal Sugar in Drayton, the Karlstad
Memorial Hospital, and Polaris Industries in Roseau.

She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Janet Dam of Killeen, TX, JoAnn
(Kent) Christian of Greenbush, MN., Janel (John) Gerick of Temple,
TX, Judy (Mike) Szklarski of Thief River Falls, MN, Deborah (Jeff)
Koopman of Baltic, SD; grandchildren, Shawna Richter, Mariah, Chance
& Ty Christian, Tiffany & Brandon Szklarski, Aaron & Angela Martinez,
MacKenzie, Kylie, & Jamie Huygens. One brother Milton, 3 sisters
Victoria, Mae, and Lillian, along with several nieces, nephews, and
other relatives.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, stepfather Clifford
Larson, grandson  Andrew, brother, Kenneth, several brothers in law
and one sister in law.

Funeral services were held at 10:00AM, Saturday, August 25, 2012 at
Collins Funeral Chapel in Greenbush with Fa. Luis Buitron
officiating.  Michelle Peppel was the Organist for Vocalist Marie
Olson.  Kevin Borreson, Jason Erickson, Greg Howdahl, Jeff Erickson,
Dale Adamski, Kevin Erickson, and David Stauffenecker were
Jeannette’s Casket Bearers while all of her many nieces and nephews
were her Honorary Bearers.  Visitation was held one hour prior to
services at the funeral home.  Interment services were held at St.
Stephen’s Catholic Cemetery of Stephen following services.
