Sharon Olson, 64

Sharon Marie was born June 21, 1948, to Floyd and Jenny Rissell in Minneapolis, MN. She lived there as a child and young adult. She came from a family of five girls and one boy. She married Randie Olson on November 16, 1968. They moved to Baudette in 1971. In Baudette, they raised a family of five girls.
Sharon was a faithful, active Jehovah’s Witness her whole life. She enjoyed helping others and taking care of her grandchildren. She worked as a mail lady in Pitt. She also drove for the county, taking people to doctor’s appointments, hospital visits, etc. She had an outgoing personality and loved to give people a hard time. She had a heart of gold and loved her family very much. She was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her father, Floyd Rissell, her mother Jenny Rissell and brother Lynn Rissell.
She is survived by her loving husband Randie; five daughters: Darci Olson, Teresa LaValla, Michelle Olson, Elizabeth (Drew) Rauvola and Ashley Olson; seven grandchildren: Christopher LaValla, Itilia LaValla, Morgan Olson, Sydney Rauvola, Chloe Rauvola, Ayla Olson and Carter Rauvola; four sisters: Barb Bryan, Janice Denika, Eileen (Joe) Evangelist and Corrinne (George) DuRose; many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all who she knew and loved.
Isaiah 25:8: “He will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces.”
A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 22, at 2:00 p.m., at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Baudette, with overflow seating available at the Brink Center, where the program can be heard. Lunch will follow at the Brink Center in Baudette. Everyone welcome.
