Dale Arnold Johnson, 77

Dale Arnold Johnson, age 77, of Clearwater and formerly of Buffalo passed away on Sunday, January 20th, 2013 at his residence.
He was born on July 27, 1935 in Lake Bronson, Minnesota the son of Gustave F. & Betty C. Wiklund Johnson.
Dale honorably served his Country in The Army Reserve from 1959-1965.
Dale has been a Buffalo resident for the past fifty four years coming from Lake Bronson.
In 1959, Dale became associated with Arnold Gruys and this association was known as Gruys-Johnson CPA Firm. Dale was the managing partner at Gruys-Johnson until 1988. He later opened his own CPA Firm in 1988.
Dale was a member of The Buffalo Rotary Club, The Buffalo Presbyterian Church, The Buffalo Chamber of Commerce, The Red Cross, Desert Caballero’s, Caballero Del Norte and several Saddle Clubs.
He was a past Chairman of The Buffalo Rodeo Committee, active in 4-H and was instrumental in starting the Little Guy Football and Buffalo Youth Hockey Association.
Survived by his loving wife: Peggy Sue Johnson; children: Stephen Johnson of Buffalo, Martin (Kerry) Johnson of Monticello, SFC Andrew (Michelle) Johnson, U.S. Army, Wendy Johnson-Ness (Paul) of Brooklyn Park, Billy Warner of Plymouth, Molly (Lance) Hopman of Tigard, Oregon and Julie Warner of Roseville; six grandchildren: Michelle Johnson, Gustaf Johnson, Genavieve Johnson, Porter Hopman, Jillian Hopman and Charles Hopman; sisters: Joy Levenhagen of Lake Bronson and Carol (David) Metzler of Ames, Iowa; other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents: Gustave & Betty, brothers: Ralph Wiklund, Richard Johnson and Marvin Johnson; his wife: Rosalie Purvis Johnson (m.1955-1989) and by a son-in-law: Paul Ness.
A Celebration of Dale’s Life will be held on Sunday, February 3rd from 1-5 P.M. at The Rockford Township Hall, 3039 Dague Avenue S.E., in rural Buffalo.
Memorials are suggested for Buffalo Hospital’s Foundation and the Wright County Agricultural Society – Horse Program.
