William “Bill” Kallock, 78

William “Bill” Kallock, 78, of East Grand Forks, MN passed away at home, surrounded by his devoted family on Monday, November 11, 2013.
William Joseph Kallock was born September 9, 1935 on the family farm near Oslo, MN. He was raised on the farm and attended Oslo rural school. William married Louise (Grandboise) Kallock and they raised four daughters. He enjoyed many years of farming with his brother, Ronnie. Some of his greatest joys were, playing racquetball at the Y.M.C.A., cross country skiing, water skiing (he loved to teach many family and friends to waterski), dancing the polka or waltzing, along with the many memories at the lake. He was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan and loved attending the sporting events of his grandchildren. He was a longtime member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in East Grand Forks. All of his daughters will miss his patience, generosity, sense of humor, and his charismatic personality.
He is survived by Louise Kallock the mother of their children; daughters, Judi (Bill) Roberts, Grand Forks, ND, Rebecca (Dave) Johnson, Grand Forks, ND; Roberta (Billy) Stauss, Koko (Dan) Nowacki, both of East Grand Forks, MN; and he dearly loved his grandchildren, Ryan, Alex and Cade Johnson, Coby and Kylie Stauss, Cole, Tanner and Jordan Nowacki. He was preceded in death by his parents Tove and Evelyn Kallock; his brothers, Ronald, Kelly, and Ralph Kallock; and his sister, Roma McFarland.
