Victoria Faith Mitton was born on February 10, 2010 in Fargo, ND to Linda (Krahn) and Bruce Mitton. She was born with a rare disorder called holoprocencephaly, which is a brain malformation. She was not expected to live long. Victoria surprised many, learning how to roll over, respond to stimuli and recognize the voices of her loved ones. Her condition didn’t stop her from camping and traveling with her family. She enjoyed dipping her feet in Zippel Bay, and going for long walks in the sunshine. She loved to cuddle and to taste new things. She lived for nearly four years and brought great joy to her family.
Victoria Mitton passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at her home in Roosevelt with her family surrounding her. She is now in the hands of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Victoria is survived by her parents, Bruce and Linda Mitton; brothers and sisters: Benjamin (Emily) Mitton of Red lake Falls, MN, Reuben, Elizabeth, Rachel, Matthew, Caleb, Marie, JoAnna, and Esther Mitton, all of Roosevelt; grandparents Gerald and Cynthia Krahn of Warroad, and David and Shirley Mitton of Toronto. She is also survived by 32 cousins and many special friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her brother Micah.
Blessed be her memory.
