Maurice Oseid Nordine (Morry), 77
Maurice Oseid Nordine (Morry), 77, of Baudette, MN, passed away peacefully December 23, 2013 following a short battle with cancer. Born in Williams, MN on October 12, 1936 to William and Josephine Nordine, he lived most of his life in the Lake of the Woods area.
As a young man, Morry spent 3 years in the army before returning to Baudette, MN to start his autobody repair business. From 1967-1969, he worked for DNR guiding on Lake of the Woods for test netting. In his spare time, he enjoyed restoring old tractors and cars, woodworking, fishing, hunting, gardening, and most of all spending time with friends and family.
Morry was preceded in his death by daughter Carla Hanson and parents William and Josephine. He will forever be missed and remembered by: Joyce Warnken (Babes), daughters Brenda Duick and Robin (Bob) Jenson, his six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, brothers Bill and Clifford, and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service for Maurice “Morry” Nordine of Baudette, MN will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2013 at 2:00PM at Helgeson Funeral Chapel in Baudette, MN. Interment will be held at a later date.
