Separate sealed BIDS for the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment for the 2014 Street Improvements project will be received by the City of Badger, Minnesota, at the City Clerk’s Office until the hour of 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29th, 2014 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The proposed work includes, but is not limited to the following major quantities:

5,661    S.Y.        Remove Bituminous Pavement
494    L. F.        Sawing Bituminous Pavement (Full Depth)
1,947    C.Y.        Common Excavation
5,839    S.Y.        Geotextile Fabric, Type V
4    Hour        Motor Grader
1,959    C.Y.        Aggregate Base (CV), Class 5 (Mod. 7 -10%)
1    Each        Adjust Valve Box – Water
4    Each        Adjust Frame and Ring Casting
1    Each        Storm Drain Inlet Protection
150    L.F.        Temporary Ditch Check, Type 2 – Bioroll
1    L.S.        Turf Establishment

The City reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
Each Bid will be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount equal to Ten (10%) percent of the total amount of the bid made payable without condition to the Owner, as a guarantee that the Bidder, if awarded the Contract, will promptly execute the Agreement in accordance with the Bid and the other Contract Documents.
