Albert Phillip Henrickson, 94

Albert Phillip Henrickson, a life-long resident of Birchdale, Minnesota, died on April 13, 2014, on his 94th birthday at Grand Arbor in Alexandria, MN. A Memorial service will be held on April 19, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at the United Congregational Church in Birchdale with Rev. John Tschudy officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Albert was born on April 13, 1920, on the family farm in Birchdale. He graduated from Indus High School in 1938.
Albert married Phyllis Robertson on June 19, 1943. Albert spent his years farming and hauling pulp with Phyllis by his side as they raised their children. He played catcher on the town baseball team for many years and loved deer hunting – bagging a large buck when he was 92. He served for many years on the Birchdale Cemetery Board. In retirement they enjoyed traveling and spending time with their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Albert is survived by his wife, Phyllis; daughters: Judy (William) Imes of Easthampton, MA, Janice (David) Imes of Birchdale; son, Stuart (Evelyn) Henrickson of Alexandria, MN; sister, Ella Masterson of Chula Vista, CA; grandchildren: Gregory Imes of Vadnais Heights, Christopher Imes of Bensenville, IL, Ann Imes of Los Angeles, CA, Rachel (Greg) Truckenmiller of Johnston, NY, Beth (Ken) Burrow of Waverly, IA, Sarah (Andy) Keller, Maria (Keith) Johanneson of Ft. Myers Beach, FL; ten great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his two brothers and a sister.
