Beverley Anne Christofferson, 66
Beverley Anne Christofferson, age 66, of Baudette, MN, went home to be with the lord on June 2, 2014.
Bev was born on March 6th 1948 to Earle and Dorothy Beatty of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She graduated from Crescent Heights High School and CNA Nurses Training in Calgary, Alberta. Beverley married Ralph Christofferson of Park Rapids, MN on August 12, 1967. They made their home in several northern, MN communities, (Grand Rapids, Mahnomen, Park Rapids, Crookston and Baudette), where Ralph served as a teacher, coach and school administrator over a 40 year career in education.
Beverley is survived by her husband, Ralph; sons, Mark (Dawn) Christofferson of Venice, Fl, David (Joanna) Christofferson of Baudette, MN; 12 grandchildren; sister, Barbara (Art) Graff of Cobble hill, British Columbia and several nieces and nephews; also her amazing caregivers and beloved friends, Calah Virtue, Meg Hemmingson, Joel & Shelly Virtue.
She is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
Beverley suffered a serious brain tumor 45 years ago and has been a very determined survivor and witness to Gods healing power and blessings. She has participated in numerous community volunteer services such as Red Cross, Hospice, Church, School First Aid, Care Center Volunteer and Blood drives. Beverley was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A Funeral Service for Beverley A. Christofferson of Baudette, MN will be held on Monday, June 9, 2014 at Cornerstone Assembly Church in Baudette, MN at 2:00PM. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2014 from 5-7PM at Helgeson Funeral Home in Baudette with a devotional service at 7PM. Interment will be held at Elm Park Cemetery.
