Kukowski, Darlene, J.  age 78 of Elk River, formerly of Brooklyn Center, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Aug 20, 2014.
Preceded in death by her parents Rueben & Ellen Gramstad; sons-in-law Brian Letellier and Eric Kolski.
Survived by her loving husband of 60 years Ernest; children Jim, Bruce, Patti Kukowski ( Rich Cline), Carol Letellier and Pam Kukowski.  Grandmother of:  Kirsten Kukowski, Josh Kukowski, Chase (Ashley) Kukowski, Carly Kukowski, Mallory Schumacher, Blake Letellier, Dane Schumacher, Colton Letellier, Ethan Ebner-Letellier and a Great-grandchild is on the way.
Also survived by her sister Verna (Willard) Monsrud; brothers Rodger (Vangie) Gramstad and Gaylan (Corrine) Gramstad; special daughters-in-law Mary Jo Kukowski and Joan Kukowski and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Darlene worked for many years at the County Seat Warehouse in Brooklyn Park after raising her children.  Her kind and gracious ways will be missed by everyone.  She especially loved her grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 AM Monday Aug 25, 2014 at the Church of St. Andrew’s 566 4th St. NW Elk River.
Visitation was from 2 to 6 PM Sunday at Dare’s Funeral Home 805 Main St. NW Elk River 763-441-1212 and 1 hour prior to Mass at church on Monday.
