Jonathan Joseph Jenson, 51

Jon Jenson, 51, of Badger, MN, died on Monday, August 18, 2014 in LifeCare Medical Center in Roseau, MN after a long battle with cancer.
Jonathan Joseph Jenson, the son of Charles and Arlene Jenson, was born December 6, 1962 in Greenbush, MN. He grew up and attended school at Greenbush. He had worked at Juhl Farms, road construction out of Bemidji, Erickson Cattle of rural Badger and was now self-employed raising cattle and crops.
Jon was a member of the National Guard for six years and a member of Moen-Zimek Post 88, American Legion of Greenbush. He was active in the Gator Wrestling Club and enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, boating, 4-wheeling and trap shooting.
Jon married Kris Kruse on April 7, 1990 in Bethel Lutheran Church in Greenbush.
He is survived by his wife—Kris.
Children: Lacey Jenson of Louisville, KY, Tony (Kierah) Jenson of Badger, Trevor (Carly Schires) Jenson of Greenbush and Jacob Jenson of Badger.
2 Grandchildren—Emerson and Josephine.

Brothers—Jeff (Bobbi) of Greenbush, Randy (Alice) of Greenbush and Rick (Randi) of Roseau, MN.
Parents-in-law—Larry and Bea Kruse of St. Hilaire, MN and Brother-in-law—Todd (Alecia) Kruse of St. Hilaire and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents—Joe and Thelma Jenson; Art and Alice Ellingson.
A Memorial Service was held on Monday, August 25, 2014 in Bethel Lutheran Church of Greenbush with Pastor Mark Mathews, officiating. Music was provided by Bill Forbister and Linda Sovde. Honorary Pallbearers were Jon’s nieces and nephews: Chance, MacKenzi, Travis, Tyler and Eli Jenson, Kagen Waage, Karissa Yates, Spencer and Maverick Symington, Ashleigh, Kaitlyn and Madisyn Kruse and his special friends—Russ Anderson, Dale Wicklund, David Stauffenecker and Glen Olson. Military Honors were performed by Moen-Zimek Post 88, American Legion of Greenbush. Arrangements were with Gieseke Funeral Chapel of Greenbush.
