Ryan Nicholaus Grahn

Ryan Nicholaus Grahn of Fargo died of natural causes on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at his home in Fargo.
Ryan was born on December 9, 1973 in Karlstad to Eldonna Grahn. He was baptized in the Lutheran faith in Lake Bronson in 1974 and was confirmed at First Lutheran Church in Karlstad. He graduated with honors from Tri-County High School in 1992 and was inducted into  “Who’s Who in Science.” Ryan was very active in band and drama in high school and awarded the honor of Best Actor in a One-Act play. He went on to earn a B.S. in Anthropology from Moorhead State University, followed by a degree in Computer Networking from Minnesota State Community and Technical College. He was employed as manager of Technical Support at Nokia/Navteq in Fargo. Ryan was very active and valued member in the Fargo music scene. Above all, he cherished time with his daughter, Selah. They both enjoyed crafts, games, and going to the zoo together.
Ryan is survived by his daughter Selah of Fargo, mother Eldonna of Karlstad, uncle Lorin (Bonnie) Grahn of Lake Bronson and Yuba City, CA, uncle and Godfather Allan Grahn of Lake Bronson, cousins Robert (Jennifer) Kate and Sarah Grahn of California, very special friends Bethany Grahn, Barb Brasch, Erin Sherwood, Godmother Patricia Conroy and other friends and relatives.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Services were Saturday, December 20 at First Lutheran Church, Karlstad. Pastor Gary Halverson officiated, Kirstin Olson organist, Bethany Grahn soloist.
Interment was at Riverside Cemetery, Lake Bronson, MN.
