Peggy Ann Lambert

Peggy Ann Lambert was called to her final home on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 after a short hospital stay.  Peggy was born November 12, 1947 to Alice Louise (Logston) and James Leach at Jasonville, Greene County, Indiana.   While still a child, her family moved to Askov, Minnesota where Peggy attended school.
           On December 20, 1990, Peggy married LuVerne Lambert at Askov, Minnesota.  LuVerne grew up in Kittson County,  attended all 12 years of school and graduated from Lancaster High School in 1969.   LuVerne and Peggy lived in St. Paul, Minnesota for many years until LuVerne’s retirement.  Then they moved to Askov to be near Peggy’s mother.   Recently they moved again, this time to Amery, Wisconsin.
          Peggy is survived by her husband, LuVerne, one son, Kirk Serritslev  both of Amery Wisconsin, step children, Ryan Lambert, Lori (Lambert) And Buddy Wawers, all of Ham Lake, Minnesota, and Tamara Lambert of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.  Also surviving are  Peggy’s mother, Alice Louise Leach, sister Jackie (Ted) Rupnik all of  Delavan, Wisconsin, sister Vicky Conrad (Dan Will) of Finlayson, Minnesota, sister Shiela (Craig) Peterson of Lakeville, Minnesota, brother Brian Leach of Askov, Minnesota and brother, Robert Leach in Illinois, sisters-in-law Louise Coffield (Jim Anderson) of Lake Bronson, Minnesota, Jane (Alan) Carlson of Milaca, Minnesota, ;and LuAnn (Wayne) Tweten of Warroad, Minnesota , grandchildren Lynsie and Daisy Wawers, and many nieces and nephews.
           Peggy was proceeded in death by her father, James Leach on January 27, 1986,  and one brother, Jim Leach on January 30, 2011.
            A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 10th,  2015 at 2PM  at the Church of Victory,  County Road # 33 North,  Askov, Minnesota.
