Richard Duane LeTexier, 75

Richard Duane LeTexier, age 75, of East Grand Forks, MN passed away on Monday, January 26, 2015 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.

Richard was born on April 9, 1939 in LeRoy, ND to the late Frank and Lena (Martineau) LeTexier.  He grew up in LeRoy and worked for area farmers before being drafted in the US Army from 1961-62 stationed in Germany.  He was married to Susan Anderson in St. Paul, MN on January 9, 1965.  He settled in Manvel, ND.   On February 18, 1997 he was married to Jan Binstock in Grand Forks, ND.  He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Smith Construction and Peterson Construction.    He will be greatly missed by his family. 

Richard is survived by his wife Jan LeTexier of East Grand Forks, MN; children, Duane (Teresa) LeTexier of East Grand Forks, MN; David (Deb) LeTexier of New Lisbon, WI; Jeremy Binstock of Grand Forks, ND; Shana LeTexier of East Grand Forks, MN; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Margaret Galle of East Grand Forks, MN; Ramona Latraille of Grafton, ND; Louise Gariepy of St. Paul, MN; Joyce Ann (Joe) Stirbiski of Bowmanville,  Ontario, Canada; Dorothy Mae Scholler of Cavalier, ND; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.  He was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Edward, James,  Thomas, and Gene; and sisters, Beatrice and Bernice.

Military Honors will be provided by East Grand Forks, MN VFW and American Legion, as well as, the ND National Guard.

In Lieu of Flowers, memorials are preferred.

Funeral Service:  10:30 am Saturday, Jan 31, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, East Grand Forks, MN

Visitation: 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Friday, January 30, 2014 with a 6:30 Prayer services at the Dahl Funeral Home, East Grand Forks, MN.

Interment:  Resurrection Cemetery, East Grand Forks, MN
