Clark Bill Solem, 58, of East Grand Forks, MN passed away peacefully at his home in East Grand Forks, MN.

Clark was born on November 6, 1956 in Grand Forks, ND to the late Elton and Irene (Gonsorowski) Solem.  He was raised in East Grand Forks, MN graduating from East Grand Forks Senior High School in 1975.  Afterwards, he worked a variety of jobs including managing a Simonson’s gas station, working at the grain elevator, and mostly as a drywall installer until an unfortunate workplace accident left him physically disabled and unable to continue in that profession.  Most recently he worked as a clerk at the Eastside Express convenience store.

Clark is survived by sister, Elta (Kenneth) Stalboerger of New London, MN; brothers, Kevin (Carol) Solem of Grand Forks, ND, and Robin (Paulla) Solem of East Grand Forks, MN; sister in law, Blanca Solem of Grand Forks, ND; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Clark was predeceased by his parents and brother, Tracy Solem. 

Funeral Service:  3:00 pm, Monday, April 6, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, East Grand Forks, MN

Visitation:  One Hour Prior to Service
