Marian Keller, 92

Marian Keller passed away March 19,2015 at the age of 92. She was born Oct 6, 1922 in Grand Forks to Peter & Nellie Hagness.  Since her husband passed away in 2013, she has greatly missed him and looked forward to the day they would be together again. We were so proud of her positive transition to living at Maple View Memory Care. She enjoyed music and loved when family gathered to play the piano and accordion. Marian graduated from Central High School in 1939. For the next few years she lived in Bremerton, Wa. Upon returning to Grand Forks, she married Earl “Butch” Keller and raised their family. Survivors are three daughters; Sherry Burton (Dale deceased) East Grand Forks, Barbara Brodahl (Jim) Hanna ,Wy,  Laurie Siemens(Gary)Palm Desert, Ca.; Grandchildren Brenda Vasek  (Gene) Sanford,Fl, Brian Burton(Patty)EGF, Lori Westrem(Jeff) EGF, Carrie Clemetson (Jeff) Grand Forks, Craig Brodahl (Sami) Cheyenne,Wy; 13 Great Grandchildren & several special nieces.Marian was the youngest of 7 Hagness children. All predeceased her. Marian was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church for over 60 years. She was also a long standing member of the DAV chapter. Although our hearts are grieving now, we are thankful to have had her love & generosity for so many years.

Visitation & funeral service were at Calvary Lutheran Church in Grand Forks on Wednesday, March 25, 2015. Visitation was from 9:30 -10:30a.m. The funeral service followed at 10:30AM. Interment was in Memorial Park Cemetery North in Grand Forks. Arrangements by Amundson Funeral Home in Grand Forks.
