Jess LeRoy Bever, 71

Jess LeRoy Bever, 71, of Badger, Minn., died Thursday, June 25, 2015, at home in Badger with family by his side.
Jess LeRoy Bever, the son of Jess Jr. and Naomi (Holmes) Bever, was born July 31, 1943, at Solo, Missouri. He grew up and attended school in Missouri. 
He worked as a service advisor at Ford, Lincoln-Mercury Parts Dept. at Rockford, Ill.  Later he owned Eagan Transportation-Trucking and Northern Star-Logistics-Trucking for eight years.  He worked at North Star Transport-Roseau Transport-Falls Diesel for 20+ years.  He also worked at Marvin Windows in Warroad for 10 years.
He married Janice Burkel on February 15, 1980.
He enjoyed watching wrestling on TV and his dogs, Teddy and Buddy.
Survived by: Wife—Janice Bever. 
Children—Toni (Matt) Nemec of Plummer, Minn., Sharelle Bever of Houston, Mo., and Eldon (Jackie) Bever of Raymondville, Mo.
Step-children—Cindy Burkel of Greenbush, Minn.,  Rodney Nesteby of Badger and Rob (Leslie) Nesteby.
Grandchildren—Charlene Melvie, Catelyn (Zack Berg) Sovde, Nash Sovde, Shasta (Matt) Head, Christie, Jennifer, Charlene, Megan and Ryan Dale Bever,  Bobby Fortune, Katherine Pursille, Alan and Justin Nemec.
 Great-grandchildren—Chaya, AllyMarie, Riley Ryan, Alyssa, Dalelyn, Briana, Austin, Kinlee, Ashton, Noah and Lillie.
Brothers and Sisters—Robert (Ann) Bever of Loves Park, Ill,  Carolyn Worley of Pomona, Mo. and Velda (Travis) Cross of Houston, Mo.
Brother and Sister-in-law—Mike (Joyce) Burkel of Thief River Falls, Minn., and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by son—Jimmie Bever, his parents—Jess Jr. and Naomi Bever, parents-in-law—Matheau and Helen Burkel, several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
Funeral Services were held on Sunday, June 28 at 1 p.m. in Gieseke Funeral Chapel of Greenbush, Minn., with Lay Pastor Larry Myhrer, officiating. Music was provided by John and Joni Burkel  and  Ally, Chaya, Catelyn and Char.  Pallbearers were their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Interment was in the Badger City Cemetery.  Arrangements were with Gieseke Funeral Chapel of Greenbush.
