Debbie (MacDonald) Quirk, 59

Debbie (MacDonald) Quirk, 59, of East Grand Forks, MN passed to her eternal life on August 10, 2015 peacefully at home surrounded by her family.
Debra Edna MacDonald entered this life on August 18, 1955 in Grand Forks, ND, the daughter of Bruce and Lila (Rostberg) Macdonald. She attended Belmont Elementary School, South Junior High School and Grand Forks Central High School. Debbie was united in marriage to Mike Quirk, her long life love and friend on September 28, 1972 in Grand Forks. To their marriage, they brought into this world a son, Corey Quirk and a daughter, Katie (Quirk) Boespflug. In her early years, she was employed at Deaconess Hospital, Kmart and Minnesota Dairy. She was currently working with a great group of co-workers at the Altru Business Center in Grand Forks. Debbie loved life to the fullest. Spending time with family and friends, especially her grandsons that were the world to her. She loved to have a glass of wine with family and friends and her moments at the family cabin on Island Lake were priceless to her. Debbie loved being a hockey and skating mom along with that hockey and baseball grandma that everyone enjoyed. Everyone will attest to what a wonderful person she was and how many hearts she touched.
Left behind with heavy hearts are her husband, Mike; son, Corey (Michelle) Quirk and daughter, Katie (Brandon) Boespflug, both of East Grand Forks, MN; her world (grandsons), Tanner Hendrickson, Cole Quirk, Kadon, Chayson, Jaxton and Judson Boespflug; sisters, Vicki Lovell, East Grand Forks, MN and Bonnie MacDonald, Grand Forks, ND; mother-in-law, Carolee Edinger; brother-in-law, David (Lily) Quirk; uncles, Wally MacDonald and Kenny Rostberg; aunt, Ruth Rostberg; nieces, Baillee Lovell, Nina Lovell; nephews, Max Lovell, Josh Quirk; along with many cousins and friends that were near and dear to her heart.
