Cheryl (Winger) Restemayer, 62, of Grand Forks, ND, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Valley Eldercare in Grand Forks, ND.
Cheryl was born on July 31, 1953, the daughter of the late Hyman and Bernice (Austin) Winger. She grew up in East Grand Forks, MN and graduated from East Grand Forks Central High School in 1971. Cheryl has lived at Valley Eldercare since 2006 and enjoyed knitting, beading, watching TV, playing Bingo, and celebrating her birthday with friends.
Cheryl is survived by brothers, Steve (Annella) Winger of Grand Forks, ND, and Terry Winger of East Grand Forks, MN; her son Ira Hughes and his family; nieces, Amy (Brent) Lahr and their children and Sarah (Josh) Anderson and their children; special friend, Lynn Woinarowicz; and all her friends at Valley Eldercare. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family would like to thank the staff at Valley Eldercare for the compassionate care they gave Cheryl during the years she resided there and to the staff of the Altru Hospice program who cared for her in her final days.
