Ricky Myron Michael Compeau, 56
Ricky Myron Michael Compeau, 56, went home to Heaven on Wednesday, November 4th, 2015 at his home. Ricky was born on October 31st, 1959 in Cavalier, ND. He was born to Raymond and Vivian (Richotte) Compeau who have preceded him in his death.
Ricky married the “love of his life” Nancy Gooden on August 24th, 1990 in East Grand Forks. Ricky and Nancy made their home and raised their two children together in East Grand Forks. Ricky began his working career alongside his father, Raymond, working for Greenberg Farms in Grand Forks. He worked several years for Ryan Potato Co. in East Grand Forks prior to working for Northland Community College as a General Maintenance Worker from 1991 until his retirement in 2010.
Ricky is survived by his wife, Nancy, and his son, Michael, both of East Grand Forks. His daughter, Jennifer, and the “apple of his eye” Grandson, Connor, both of Moorhead, MN. Brothers Dan (Sheila) Compeau of Grand Forks and Vincent of Makoti, ND. Sisters Lila Olson and Cheryl (Grant) Kahlbaugh of Grand Forks. His aunts Alice Richotte of Graham, WA and Shirley Shelley of Kalispell, MT. His uncle Keith Richotte of Menahga, MN. Also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In Lieu of Flowers, memorials are preferred.
Funeral Service: 1:00 PM, Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, East Grand Forks, MN.
Visitation: 5-7 PM with a 6:30 prayer service, Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at the Dahl Funeral Home, East Grand Forks, MN.
Interment: Resurrection Cemetery, East Grand Forks, MN.
